About the Scholarship
The "UNF Carolyn Osburn Scholarship" award is given by the organization 'University of North Florida (UNF)' and was established in 1986 to support, assist and encourage the students who are going take admission in UNF College of Education and Human Service at Florida. This organization wanted to educate people of Florida whose major should be teaching.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website 'University of North Florida (UNF)' and Human Services (COEHS) website, all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- Applicant must have to submit FAFSA certificate.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
A student must also submit two reference letter printed on official letterhead and a resume.
- He/she should submit curriculum vitae of four pages or less that include educational qualifications, work experience, teaching experience, leadership positions held and professional activities.
In addition to that applicant must write and submit and a three-page essay on a topic listed in the scholarship application.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $500 per year and the number of awards given to the eligible candidates is two.
Deadline for the scholarship:
The deadline for the scholarship is the 14th of February 2020.
The applicant must reside in the U.S. or be the permanent resident.
He/she should join the UNF College of Education and Human Services.
This award is given to those prefered students who have been admitted into the deaf education program.
He/she should be juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
He/she should be a student at the University of North Florida.
