About the Scholarship
The Utah Jump$tart Coalition has started this scholarship since 2001, which hosted a free, full-day professional development training focused on financial and economic education. Our mission is to improve the personal financial literacy of K-12 youth by providing advocacy, research, and educational resources. The Jump$tart Coalition works to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy and the need for financial education, especially among youth, fosters collaboration among financial literacy stakeholders. The scholarship award helps and supports the students to achieve their academic goals.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
The applicants who are applying for this scholarship must fill and submit the scholarship application form in order to receive this fund.
In addition to that, all applicants must submit the official transcripts of school or college to determine their academic enrollment in graduate studies.
A candidate must give reference letters from his or her faculty member and a letter of transmittal.
Also, an applicant must prove their academic excellence by submitting ACT/SAT scorecards.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The scholarship will be awarded to six eligible applicants with the award amount of $1250 per academic year.
All applicants must apply for this scholarship on or before the 16th March 2019.
The student must be a graduate from an accredited Utah high school.
The student should either have completed or enrolled in the General Financial Literacy course.
The applicant should be pursuing postsecondary education.
