About the Scholarship

The Vermont Police Association provides scholarship opportunities to students pursuing postsecondary education at an accredited university or college in a field related to law enforcement.

The Vermont Police Association Scholarships are offered to students based on the financial need demonstrated. The applicants must be U.S. citizens who are residing in the state of Vermont.


Vermont Police Association Scholarships Awards

  • The association provides scholarship awards to the selected number of students based on their eligibility.

  • The recipients receive an amount of $1000 per year to meet the educational expenses associated with pursuing higher education.


Vermont Police Association Scholarships Application

The applicants must be enrolled in accredited university or college for a course of study related to the field of law enforcement. The application must consist of the following:

  • The completed Unified Scholarship Application form that is available on the official website of the organization.

  • The completed FAFSA.

  • An essay based on a general topic.


Vermont Police Association Scholarships Applications Deadline

The scholarship application must be submitted to the scholarship committee of the organization before March 3rd without fail. Any application received past the deadline will not be considered.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The student should have attended a school approved for federal Title IV funding.

  • The student should be pursuing a degree in law enforcement.

  • The student should produce financial needs.
