Thomas Jefferson University is a Private not-for-profit university formed out of the integration of Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University. It is situated in the beautiful city of Philadelphia and has two scenic campuses-East Falls and Center City.

Thomas Jefferson University was founded in 1824 as Jefferson Medical College, and Philadelphia University was founded in 1884 as the Philadelphia Textile School. The distinctive integration of these two universities took place on July 1, 2017. They together share a flourishing history and rich legacy of experiential learning, innovation, and excellence.
