Truett McConnell University (TMU) is a Christian private not-for-profit institution headquartered at Cleveland, in the state of Georgia. 

It was founded in 1946 to educate students with a biblically-centered education. It has more than 200 acres of huge campus in hilly areas of Northeast Georgia.

Fernando McConnell and George W. Truett contributed largely for southern baptist life. Later Baptist Convention established the university in tribute to them.
