The campus is around 1,600 acres and the university has around 20 Greek organizations and 1,000-plus events. Pensacola beach which is one of the brightest beaches in the world is a short trip away from the university.

University of West Florida bookstore provides the students with plenty of merchandisers which includes apparels, supplies and much more. The bookstore also has a huge collection of textbooks, course materials, and many more resources.

The University of West Florida library gives access to the library resources to off-campus and on-campus students. The library has textbooks, databases, e-journals and more.

The University of West Florida athletics team plays NCCA tournaments. Some of the sports played are Football, Basketball, Soccer, Softball, and Tennis. The students are given a lot of facilities which includes Argonaut Athletic Club, Blue Wahoos Stadium, UWF Softball Complex and more.
