Washington University in St. Louis was founded by St. Louis merchant Wayman Crow and his pastor, William Greenleaf Eliot Jr. in 1853. The mission of the university is to identify and distribute knowledge and preserve the liberty of inquiry through research, teaching, and learning.

  • WashU is an amazing place for students. They do a marvelous job to produce a great experience, especially for the beginner. The campus is beautiful with people from different cultures. 
  • The academics are challenging but it is effective and manageable. There are plenty of online and traditional resources available to make academics much more easier. The professors are amazing.

  • Almost all the students are covered by the institutional aids and grants and only a few percentages of the fee are charged from the students. The workload is challenging but the environment makes it very much manageable.

The main library of the university was built in 1907 and was located in Ridgley Hall. Wustl Olin Library is a powerful network of academic resources featuring 12 libraries.
