New Mexico State University (NMSU) is a public university located in Las Cruces in New Mexico, a NASA Space Grant College and the first Honors College in New Mexico. The campus was established in 1888 as Las Cruces College. The college later merged with New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts in 1890.
