About the Scholarship

American Culinary Federation sponsors the AAC Culinary Institute of America Scholarship. Established in 1929, ACF provides resources that will keep you on the cutting edge and involved with the culinary industry. 


What are the basic requirements needed for this grant?

  • The student has to complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be able to apply or receive this scholarship.

  • The applicant who is planning for this grant must plan to pursue a career as a chef.

  • The applicant must submit their letters of recommendation specifically for the ACF scholarship, from the local ACF Chapter or educational institution officials

 

AAC Culinary Institute of America Scholarship amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $1500 to $2500 annually

  • Any unused portion of the scholarship grant, under withdrawal from the program by the recipient, shall be returned by the school to the attention of the ACF Director of Education.

 

Deadline information

The application deadlines by the end of April 30, 2020, the students are informed to apply before the due date.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a U/S citizen

  • Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Be a high school senior eligible to graduate the same year as the scholarship is applied for.

  • Be currently accepted to the institution with a major in either culinary or pastry arts.

  • Have a career goal of becoming a chef or pastry chef
