About the Scholarship

American Association of Airport Executives established this scholarship to support the spouse or the child of an A.A.E. member of AAAE to reduce the financial issues they are facing.

The children under the program refer to natural or legally-adopted children, stepchildren and legal wards supported wholly by the guardian who is an active A.A.E. Financial need is considered only in determining the size of the award. Awards can be used to pay for tuition, books, lab fees or other approved school-related expenses. Awards may not be used to pay for room and board as specified by financial aid.

How to apply for a Scholarship?

  • The scholarship applications are available online from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) website, all candidates must fill and submit the online application form in order to receive the award.

  • In addition to that, applicants must send the official transcripts of college or institution to the financial division of A.A.A.E.

  • The student must submit a typed, double-spaced essay in 500 words or less on the topic "What are my educational goals and how do they relate to my career goals?".

  •  If the Projected Annual Parent Aid (PAPA) Form is not completed, the student will be considered only for the minimum award amount. Since there is no particular income level at which students are denied consideration, it is strongly advised that all students complete the PAPA Form.
