About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. college juniors who are studying metallurgy or materials science with plans for a career in the iron and steel industry, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students must be eligible for employment at a steel company in the country in which they are attending school. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be eligible for employment at a steel company in the country he/she is attending school in during the summer following application. Satisfying the employment criteria in the appropriate country is the responsibility of the applicant. Applicants unable to accept the summer internship will not be considered. Must be enrolled full time. Must be studying metallurgy or materials science with plans for a career in the iron and steel industry. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
