About the Scholarship
This scholarship is available for undergraduate Alabama students who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and attend an eligible Alabama institution. Applicants must have a parent or grandparent who was/is a veteran of WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam Conflict, the Beirut/Grenada Emergency, the Panama Emergency, or Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of Alabama. Must have a parent or grandparent who was/is a veteran of WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam Conflict, the Beirut/Grenada Emergency, the Panama Emergency, or Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must plan to attend one of the following Alabama institutions: University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, or Huntsville campuses; Auburn University, Auburn or Montgomery campuses; Jacksonville State University; Troy State University; University of Montevallo; University of North Alabama - Florence; University of South Alabama - Mobile; University of West Alabama - Livingston; Alabama State University - Montgomery; or Alabama A&M University. Must be the son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter of a veteran. Must be a U.S. citizen.
