About the Scholarship
Minority U.S. students entering their freshman year of college in the fall who are planning to major in an atmospheric science, oceanography, or hydrology are eligible to apply for this award. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a minority student of a race that has been traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students. Must pursue a career in the atmospheric sciences, oceanography, or hydrology. Marine biology is not an eligible field of study. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
