About the Scholarship

Anonymous Foundation Scholarship is supported by the American Indian College Fund. The foundation was established in 1989. The American Indian College Fund puts resources into Native understudies and tribal school training to change lives and networks. The association gives grants, programming to improve Native American understudy access to advanced education, and the help and tools for them to succeed once they are there.


What is the application process to apply for this scholarship?

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • Students must submit a digital photo (at least 1.5 MB in size)

  • Students must provide proof of tribal affiliation (detailed instructions available on AICF website)

  • Applicants must submit with his/her most recent college transcript, or high school transcript/GED score report if just starting college.

  • Students applying for this grant must demonstrate financial need.


Anonymous Foundation Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $4600 annually and is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies annually depending on the availability of funds and students meeting their requirements.


Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of May 31, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the American Indian College Fund website.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The student must be a U.S citizen.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited public or private institution.

  • The applicant may be registered as a member of a federal or state recognized tribe, or a descendant of at least one grandparent or parent who is an enrolled tribal member.

  • The student should acquire a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
