About the Scholarship

Aquinas College is continuously assessing each student’s ability to contribute to his or her education. Financial aid is awarding the Aquinas College Presidential Leadership Scholarship to assist those students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities in their high school and community. The award is helpful for students in order to achieve a liberal arts education, various Federal, State, and Institutional financial aid programs are established. The scholarship is applied to the students who maintain the cumulative grade point average specified by the financial aid of Aquinas college. In addition to that, applicants must also demonstrate their great economical burden in the view of pursuing academic study. The applicants must show satisfactory academic progress in order to receive this award.

How to Apply for Scholarship?

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, an applicant must fill and submit a FAFSA application form before October 1st, which demonstrates the financial need of a student.

  • A student must clearly provide the information in the FAFSA application. Based on the information provided in the FAFSA, the student will be assisted financially.

  • In addition to FAFSA form, an applicant must provide official documents of his/her institution and high school.

  • To demonstrate the academic GPA mentioned by the financial aid, a student needs to submit the official transcripts of ACT/SAT scorecards.

Award Amount and Deadline:

The scholarship amount ranges from $10000 to $15000 per annum to any number of applicants. and it is renewable up to five additional years of student's academic study who maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.75.

The students need to apply for this scholarship on or before 1st March 2020.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students should have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or more.

  • A student should demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities in their high school and community.

  • The scholarship is renewable for up to five years provided the student maintains at least a 2.75-grade point average.

  • A student should study at Aquinas College in order to receive this fund.
