About the Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. This grant provides assistance to students seeking professional training in chiropractic medicine, dentistry optometry, osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine and veterinary medicine to allow them to attend top institutions. Each participating institute will select eligible students.


How to apply for the scholarship?

  • The applicant can request for application packets from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education site.

  • Interested applicants must be accepted by a school that is under contract with the State.

  • Along with the application, FAFSA should be submitted.


How much the scholarship award amounts to?

  • The award amounts can range from $5,000 to $27,000 yearly.

  • The number of awards offered varies each year.
