About the Scholarship
The Amry Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) helps eligible candidates by paying for their college and teaches them about leadership. The Army ROTC Two-Year Scholarship is a two-year scholarship is available for applicants who have at least two academic years of college program remaining. The respective scholarship is renewable until graduation for 2 years. In addition to the prize money, the scholarship also provides monthly living allowances for every academic year.
While accepting the respective scholarship, the applicants must also agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army, for 8 years, including 4 years of full service and another 4 years of Individual Ready Reserve (IRR).
In the future years, the selected applicants may also accept to serve part-time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard.
How to Apply?
In order to apply for the Army ROTC Two-Year Scholarship, the applicants can find the application which is available on the official website of Army ROTC.
To apply online, the applicant may create a 'mygoarmy' account. In case the applicant wants to apply otherwise, they may download the application and send it through the mail. The application must include the SAT or ACT scores fo the applicant.
The application process also requires a copy of the official transcript of the applicant, sent directly to the Army ROTC, from the respective high-school of the applicant.
The required documents must be submitted on or before the mentioned deadline.
In the Army ROTC Two-Year Scholarship program, a two-year renewable amount of $7500 is awarded to the applicant, including the tuition fees or room and board. Along with the prize money, monthly living allowances are also provided to the respective applicants.
The required documents must be submitted to the Army ROTC on or before10 January 2020 in order to apply for the Army ROTC Two-Year Scholarship.
The Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Army ROTC Two-Year Scholarship:
Must be a current college sophomore with at least two years remaining in a degree program.
The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national.
The applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 26.
The applicant must be interested in attending a school with an Army ROTC program and be willing to commit to service in the Army after college graduation.
The applicant must have a high school cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
The applicant must have an SAT score of 920 or higher OR an ACT score of 19 or higher.
The applicant must be a U.S. student.
