About the Scholarship

This award is given by the organization Ashland University official website. This Ashland University awards are available to full-time, undergraduate students who are paying the comprehensive rate of tuition and do not have a bachelor’s degree. Ashland University students enrolled in the Evening/Weekend, Lorain County Community College, Columbus Bachelor’s Completion or Nursing programs not paying the comprehensive rate are not eligible for these awards.


How to apply for the scholarship?

The candidates can apply online on the Ashland University website.

The candidate must have to join as a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

The candidate has to submit the high school cumulative GPA.

The candidate has to submit the ACT/SAT at the time of admission.

The candidate has to submit Award his/her academic scores at the time of admission.

The candidate has to submit official transcripts and a personal statement certificate.

The candidate must have to submit Phi Theta Kappa designation transcript.


Award Amount for the scholarship:

The awarded amount for this scholarship is $1,000.

This scholarship is renewable up to three years and the number of awards given to the applicant is varies upon the eligible candidate applied for the scholarship.


Deadline for the scholarship:

There is no deadline for this award, an applicant can apply for this award throughout the year.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must have at least 3.0-grade point average out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • A student must hold an AA, AS, AAS, or Canadian equivalent degree.

  • A recipient must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa and be a legal citizen of the United States.
