About the Scholarship

U.S. students who will begin their final year (i.e., fourth or fifth year) of undergraduate study in the fall are eligible for this award. Students must be studying mechanical engineering. ASME Scholarships are awarded annually to eligible ASME Student Members. There are up to two recipients of $3,000 each. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be enrolled in a mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related baccalaureate program. Must be entering his/her final year of undergraduate study. Generally, students will apply for this award during their junior year; students in a five-year program must apply during their fourth year.
