About the Scholarship

This award is available to current high school seniors in California who have a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who is a proprietor of an establishment with a California liquor license, or who is employed full-time by an individual or corporation holding a California liquor license. To be eligible, the applicant must have participated in one or more of the following extracurricular activities during his/her junior and senior years of high school: community service, athletics, music or the performing arts. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of California. Must have a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who is currently proprietor of, or employed full time with, an individual or company holding a valid California liquor or beer/wine license. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Must plan to enroll full time. Must have participated in one or more of the following extracurricular activities during his/her junior and senior years of high school: community service, athletics, music or the performing arts. The activity must serve to benefit his/her school yet take place outside of regular school hours. Must be a high school senior who is planning to attend a four-year college or university.
