About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for third-year and fourth-year U.S. law students who demonstrate the intent to practice law and promote the rights of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community. Students need not be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered themselves to apply. Application requirements for the Bill and Anne Shepherd Legal Scholarship are:Application form Recommendation letters (2) Official Transcript Personal statement Interview (opt. finalists only)

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must demonstrate the intent to practice law and promote the rights of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community. Must be a third-year or fourth-year law student currently enrolled in an accredited law school at the time of application.
