About the Scholarship

Bruce Lee Scholarship is accredited and is sponsored by the Bruce Lee Foundation.

The foundation was started with a mission dedicated to sharing Bruce Lee's message with the world by creating opportunities for people and provide financial assistance to students & families within the country to attend colleges.

Bruce Lee Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors nationwide for their post-secondary education and is awarded by the U.S Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce in the district of Colombia, Washington.

What is the application process for this scholarship?

  • Students must provide a 2'' X 2", color photo of good quality, the Scanned photo is NOT acceptable.

  • An Essay of 250-300 words must be submitted explaining "Why Should they Be Awarded for this Scholarship?”

  • High School Transcript, capturing the past two years of coursework.

  • Most recent household tax returns signed by the taxpayer(s), Must include the applicant's name, a statement of the actual household income.

  • Two letters of recommendation must be submitted, 1 from high school, and 1 from a community service organization in which a student is involved.

  • Additionally, students also have to provide information on the proposed post-secondary course of major and the costs associated with it.

Bruce Lee Scholarship Award Amount

  • This scholarship award amount ranges from $2000 to $5000 every academic year.

  • The amount is paid directly to the individual's college or universities as the cost of tuition.

  • The total number of awards offered through this scholarship is limited to one candidate each year depending on the availability of funds and applications received.

Scholarship Award Amount and Deadline

The applications are to be presented to the financial aid department on or before the finish of March 29.

Students are advised to submit their records in advance to avoid their application being rejected.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be 16 years of age or older at the time of application.

  • A student must be a high school senior.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and be involved in community service and demonstrate leadership skills.

  • Candidates must enrol full time at any accredited post-secondary educational institution in the United States in the upcoming fall semester.

  • To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must have a grade point average of 3.3 or above.
