About the Scholarship
The Buckfire Law Firm has been Michigan's most trusted personal injury law firm for more than 50 years. At Buckfire, the members represent their clients' cases with great skill and integrity.
The B&B Disability Scholarship was established back in 2014 as part of the law firm’s commitment to helping applicants with any kind of mental disabilities or injuries regarding their mental health, who are in severe need of financial assistance for their educational purposes.
How to Apply?
In order to apply for the Buckfire & Buckfire Disability Scholarship program, the applicants must present the following documents on or before the respective deadline date:
- A copy of the completed application form available online on the official website of Buckfire Law Firm.
- A copy of the essay describing the applicant's experience of overcoming adversity caused by the applicant's disability and what they learned from it
- A copy of the official or unofficial transcript from the applicant's most recently attended university or college
- The applicant's diagnosis document for the disability, from a qualified Psychiatrist.
The respective documents must be submitted on or before the deadline date.
Non-Renewable prize money amounting to $1000 will be awarded to a single eligible applicant, per year.
The applicants must submit the required documents on or before 01 October 2020 in order to apply for the Buckfire & Buckfire Disability Scholarship.
In order to apply for the Buckfire & Buckfire Disability Scholarship, the applicants must consider the following eligibility criteria:
The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
The applicant must be diagnosed with a medical disability.
The applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
The applicant must have completed at least one semester of undergraduate study at the time of application.
The applicant must be a U.S. student.
