About the Scholarship
Bucknell University is started funding this scholarship to the most highly qualified applicants to the incoming class whose academic performance is very high and maintaining superior grades and excellent test score results. A student must be greatly involved in community activities in addition to the academic curriculum. The scholarship fellows are invited to academic and cultural activities on campus and participate in special professional development events. The student will get the award every year for an academic term if and only if he/she maintains satisfactory academic results.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
In order to apply for this award, an applicant must fill out the FAFSA application form. By this FAFSA form, the EFC is calculated by the Bucknell University financial aid to get to know about the financial status of the student's family.
In addition to that, A student must complete the College Scholarship Service(CSS) Profile to apply for this scholarship award.
With respect to the demonstration of academic progress, an applicant must provide the official forms of ACT/SAT scorecards.
A student must give signed copy of all pages and schedules of parent's prior year federal income tax return, Copies of all parents W-2 and 1099 forms, Signed copy of all pages and schedules of student's most recent federal income tax return, Entrance Loan Counseling for the Federal Direct Loan, and the Master Promissory Note (MPN) for the Federal Direct Loan program.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The Bucknell University Financial Aid is offering $30000 per annum to the applicants. The awards are renewable throughout the student's academic study. Totally 25 awards are offered every year.
In addition to this award, Presidential Fellows will receive an additional allowance of up to $1,800 who work closely with a professor or University administrator for six to eight hours per week during the academic year.
The scholarship application fillup date is till 15th January 2020. All applicants must apply to this fund before the given deadline date.
Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at Bucknell.
Applicants must be highly qualified and present superior academic profiles, superior grades and standardized test scores with a commitment to the school and civic engagement.
Presidential Fellows should work closely with a professor or University administrator for six to eight hours per week during the academic year on a challenging, long-term project that matches their interests.
