About the Scholarship
The Carol Bond Fund Community College Scholarship is established by the NC AWWA-WEA in cooperation with employees of the City of Raleigh, NC. The scholarship fund is provided in the honor of the late Carol Bond and her life-long devotion to environmental education. The community encourages and awards the fund toward environmental education. The applicants must be community college students to receive this scholarship opportunity. Priority will be given to students who are members of a student chapter of NC AWWA-WEA.
How to apply for a Scholarship?
An applicant must fill the online scholarship application form.
In addition to that, an applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher or instructor.
Applicants must submit an official transcript of college or institute that they are studying in.
In addition to that, an applicant must write an essay as specified by financial aid.
Award Amount and Deadline:
A scholarship provides a $500 to two students annually, and it is non-renewable.
All applicants must apply to this scholarship before 28th March.
The Carol Bond Fund awards scholarships annually to four-year university students, community college students, and environmental educators.
Students should be residents of North Carolina.
