About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who are of Asian descent (as defined by the California Department of Education) and reside in Santa Clara County, California, or are the children or grandchildren of a Chi Am Circle Club member. Students must have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher. Application requirements for the Chi Am Circle Scholarship are:Application form Essay Recommendation letters (2) ACT/SAT scores (req. for some) Official Transcript

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Must be a graduating high school senior who is able to show proof of acceptance at a junior or four-year college. Must be of Asian descent as defined by the California Department of Education. The California DOE's definition is available online at www.cde.ca.gov/ds/dc/es/refaq.asp#q1. Must reside in Santa Clara County, California, OR be the child or grandchild of a Chi Am Circle Club member.
