About the Scholarship

Clemson University accredits Clemson Scholars Award. The foundation was started by Thomas Green Clemson in the year 1889. The foundation was started to help hands for those students who are in financial need for their education and tuition fees.


How to get started?

  • The student has to complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be able to apply or receive this scholarship.

  • ACT/SAT scores must be maintained by the students to meet the eligibility for this scholarship.

  • Trustee Scholarship is issued only once to the selected students. 

What is the scholarship amount?

  • This scholarship provides $3500 annually which is renewable for three additional years present on the campus.

  • The number of awards offered varies depending on the student's financial needs and available funds.


Deadline information

  • The applicants must submit their application form by the end of March 01, 2020, with all the available applications like SAT/ACT scores a written transcript.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A student must pass at least 12 credit hours and be a legal US citizen to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • An applicant must earn a 2.4 or higher grade point average in each term.

  • Graduates of the SDP are not eligible to reapply.

  • The applicant must plan to attend a college or university in South Carolina and be a high school senior at the time of application submission.
