About the Scholarship

Concordia College sponsors Concordia College Presidential Scholarship. Founded in 1891 by Norwegian settlers who valued education and their religious heritage, Concordia opened its doors with 12 students and three instructors. The presidential award is the most prestigious. The purpose of Concordia College is to influence the affairs of the world by sending into society thoughtful and informed men and women dedicated to the Christian life.

Basic requirements needed for this scholarship?

  • The students must complete free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application for meeting the eligibility criteria for this scholarship.

  •  an average composite ACT of 27 or SAT score of 1220 must be achieved by the students.

  • The applicant must write an essay and one letter of recommendation.


Concordia College Presidential Scholarship amounts to

  • This scholarship grants $17000 annually which is renewable for up to 3 additional years.

  • A total of 80 awards are offered annually from this scholarship.


Deadline information

All students are informed to submit their scholarship application by the end of January 15, 2020. Applications are available on the official website of Concordia College.
