About the Scholarship

Current undergraduate students who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and are residents of Craighead County, Arkansas are eligible for this award. Students must be single and have custody over one or more children under the age of 18, be the head of household and live at or near poverty level. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a resident of Craighead County in Arkansas. Must have sole custody of one or more children under the age of 18. Must be the head of the household. Must be pursuing a career-oriented course of study in order to ensure a better standard of living for his/her family on a full- or part-time basis. The student should note that part-time awards are given on a funds-available basis. Must be a low-income person at or near the poverty level. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Must be a high school graduate and/or GED recipient or currently enrolled undergraduate student. Must be single, legally separated, divorced, or widowed.
