About the Scholarship

This award is available for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (GLBT) students and/or children of GLBT parent(s). Applicant must be a resident of either northwest Oregon (Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Hood River, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington or Yamhill counties) or southwest Washington (Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Skamania, or Wahkiakum counties); and must pursue a career in law. Application requirements for the Davis Wright Tremaine Equity Scholarship are:Application form Recommendation letters (2) Personal statement Interview (may be required of finalists)

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited law school. Must be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered (GLBT) or the child of GLBT parent(s). Must be a resident of either northwest Oregon (Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Hood River, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington or Yamhill counties) or southwest Washington (Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Skamania, or Wahkiakum counties) for at least one year prior to submitting an application.In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:Sign Up To View
