About the Scholarship

E-Waste Scholarship is recognized and is sponsored by the Digital Responsibility organization. Digital Responsibility was started by a group of Silicon Valley tech employees who wished to share with young people the personal and public consequences of technology. 

E-Waste Scholarship was started with the purpose to help you understand the impact of e-waste and what can be done to reduce e-waste. this scholarship is provided to high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level.

What is the application process?

  • An applicant must first fill in the online application form that can be found online on the official website of the scholarship.

  • Students are required to submit an essay of 500 to 1000 words about e-waste.

  • Candidates are also instructed to provide their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to demonstrate his/her family's financial position to pay for the education.

what is the E-Waste Scholarship Award Amount

  • This scholarship provides $1000 annually which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to one candidate each year based on the availability of funds and students meeting their requirements.

Deadline Information 

All the necessary documents along with the application form must be sent to the respective department of the organization on or before April 30, 2020.

Students are advised to keep track of the deadline from the official website to avoid getting their application disqualified.
