Eligibility Criteria
Must be a high school graduate or older at time of application. Must attend Pittsburg State University or Washburn University. Must be a resident of Kansas. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must enroll for six hours or more per semester. Preference will be given to full-time students. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must pursue a career in nursing. The scholarship committee shall consider the following priorities in making scholarship recommendations to the board of trustees: registered nurse currently in occupational health pursuing a baccalaureate degree; a occupational health nurse pursuing a master’s degree or doctoral degree with emphasis on occupational health.
