About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who have a parent/guardian who is a full-time, active employee of a police, sheriff's, or fire department. The student must be 15 to 20 years of age. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien. Must be at least 15 years of age and not older than 20 at time of application. Must be a graduating high school senior who will receive a diploma from an accredited high school located within the state where he/she applies. The student must be accepted for admission to an accredited college/university, and plan to matriculate at a college in the following academic year. Must have a father, mother, or natural guardian who is a full-time, active, paid member of a police, sheriff's, or fire department in the state where the student applies.
