About the Scholarship
Fulfilling Our Dreams Scholarship Program is accredited by the Salvadoran American Leadership and Educational Fund (SALEF). The association has been granting funds since 1998 with more than 1000 grants, The main aim of this award-giving program is to give higher education a reality to Central American and Latino understudies, including undocumented understudies.
How to apply for Fulfilling Our Dreams Scholarship Program?
The applicants must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.
Candidates must provide a personal statement of no more than 1,000 words describing the topics listed on the application.
An official transcript (must have a school seal and/or authorized signature) and a resume must be submitted at the time of admission.
Students must demonstrate financial needs along with a copy of the SAR (Student Aid Report).
Fulfilling Our Dreams Scholarship Program award amounts to
- This scholarship program amount ranges from $1000 to $5000 annually which is nonrenewable.
The number of awards offered varies annually. In past years, 54 scholarships have been awarded.
The application deadline by the end of May 01, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other required application before the due date to meet the eligibility. The applications and other related information are available on the Salvadoran American Leadership and Educational Fund (SALEF) website.
An applicant must demonstrate the need for financial assistance.
A student should have a minimum of 2.5 GPA out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.
An applicant has to demonstrate a commitment to community involvement and leadership.
A student must live or went to high school in the city of Los Angeles.
