About the Scholarship
Gabe A. Hartl (Category A) Scholarship is awarded by Air Traffic Control Association. Established by a group of air traffic controllers, in the year 1956. The Air traffic Control Association ha been presence to dedicate the progress in the field of air traffic control and takes measures of a safe flight environment. ATCA scholarships help to provide students with financial assistance for tuition fees, books, and other school-related expenses.
Basic requirements needed for Gabe A. Hartl (Category A) Scholarship?
This scholarship is mainly awarded to students who are enrolled in Air Control Curriculum at FAA-approved institutions.
Students must have completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to meet eligibility.
Official transcripts of all college coursework. If you are a high school student or have completed less than 30 semester or 45 quarter hours, also send a high school transcript(s).

This scholarship provides $1500 to $2500 annually which is nonrenewable but the previous students can reapply.
The number of awards offered by this scholarship varies based on the depending students meeting their eligibility.
The application deadline by the end of May 01, 2020 every applicant is informed to submit the applications before the due date, or the applications are not taken into consideration.

Must be a U.S citizen
Students enrolled half- to full-time in a two- to four-year air traffic control program at an institution approved and/or licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration as directly supporting the FAA's college and training initiative.
