This scholarship is available for Georgia high school seniors who have a father, mother or natural guardian who is a member of the police or fire department, or a full-time paid or volunteer member of the police department, located in Georgia AND is a full-time active employee, not on disability. Students must be 15 to 20 years old. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be 15 to 20 years old. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must graduate from an accredited high school in Georgia. Must have a father, mother or natural guardian who is a full-time paid member of the police, fire, or sheriff's departments in Georgia (volunteer fire department members also qualify), OR a full-time public safety officer (police/fire) in Georgia. Children of administrative staff; DHS, FBI, and other federal employees; reserve officers; part-time sheriff's deputies; and retired, deceased, or disabled employees do not qualify.
