About the Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. students attending Florida State College at Jacksonville who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must be enrolled full time in a degree program, or a non-credit vocational program with a minimum of 900 clock hours. Preference will be given to blood relatives of Gideon T. Burdett Jr. (written proof required) or employees, or descendants of employees of, the Seaboard Coastline Railroad Company or Atlantic Railroad. Application requirements for the Gideon T.
