About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Montana high school seniors who plan to attend a two- or four-year Montana college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, or an SAT score of 1440 or higher (math and reading sections only), or an ACT score of 20 or higher. Application requirements for the Governor’s ‘Best and Brightest’ Scholarship Program – High School Merit are:Application form Official Transcript ACT/SAT score College acceptance letter

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a resident of Montana. Must be accepted to one of the following eligible Montana postsecondary institutions: UM-Missoula; Missoula College UM; UM-Western; Helena College UM; Montana Tech; Highlands College of Montana Tech; MSU-Bozeman; MSU-Billings; City College MSU; MSU-Northern; Great Falls College MSU; Dawson Community College; Flathead Community College; Miles Community College; Blackfeet Community College; Chief Dull Knife College; Aaniiih Nakoda College; Fort Peck Community College; Little Big Horn College; Salish-Kootenai College; Stone Child College. Must be a high school senior at time of application. Must plan to enroll full time.
