About the Scholarship

Residents of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, or Texas who are attending a postsecondary institution in one of the eligible states are eligible for this award. Students must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry. Application requirements for the Gulf Coast Hurricane Scholarship are:Recommendation letters (3) Application form Personal statement Official Transcript Activities list Resume Proof of residency

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must enroll full time. Must have a demonstrated or expressed interest in the plastics industry and be majoring in or taking courses that are beneficial to a career in the plastics/polymer industry. This would include, but is not limited to, plastics engineering, polymer science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and industrial engineering. Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a two- or four-year institution or technical institute. Must be a resident of a Gulf Coast state (Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, or Texas).
