About the Scholarship

The Hadden Scholarship is awarded by the Youth Foundation, Inc., a private non-profit, tax-exempt Foundation established in 1940. The main goal of Youth Foundation, Inc. is to reward the extraordinarily talented, financially weak, secondary school seniors in their path towards their undergraduate college education.

The Hadden Scholarship committee chooses the applicants based on their evaluation of character, academic records, financial needs, extra-curricular activities, and work experience.

In case the applicant's college hasn't agreed to refrain their own scholarship grant at the expense of the Youth Foundation's award, the scholarship won't be provided to the applicant.
