About the Scholarship

This award is for U.S. students who are currently enrolled at an accredited postsecondary institution in the U.S. The student must a dependent of a member of the Armed Forces who died as a result of performing military service in Iraq or Afghanistan after Sept. 11, 2001, and who is not receiving a Pell Grant. Application requirements for the Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants are:FAFSA

Eligibility Criteria

Must have a parent or guardian who was a member of the Armed Forces and died as a result of performing military service in Iraq or Afghanistan after Sept. 11. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. This award is for U.S. students. Must be 24 years of age or younger and be currently enrolled in an undergraduate associate’s or bachelor’s degree program.
