About the Scholarship
This scholarship is established in 2007 by Edith Updyke Harmon in memory of her husband, Jack, to provide scholarship to give assistance to those students who are intending to attend specific institutions of higher education and this scholarship is given by the organization East Tennessee Foundation.
How to apply for the scholarship?
This scholarship's form is available on the official website of East Tennessee Foundation and people can apply through this.
The applicant has to submit his/her FAFSA certificate.
The applicant has to submit his/her CAT/SAT score card.
The applicant has to submit his/her academic scorecard.
The applicant must have to submit a copy of the East Tennessee Foundation scholarship guide and application instructions.
The applicant has to submit a college transcript.
The applicant has to submit a recommendation letter.
The Awarded amount of the scholarship:
The awarded amount of this scholarship is $5,000 per year and this scholarship is renewable upto four years.
The number of the award given to the applicants in a year is one.
Deadline for the Award:
The deadline for this award is the 15th of February.
An applicant must be graduating seniors from Tennessee High School in Bristol, TN; Virginia High School and John S. Battle High School, both in Bristol, VA; Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, TN; or Bland High School in Bland, VA.
A student must study in the field of Music, art, agriculture, math, or science.
The recipient must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
A student must enroll full time at one of the following institutions: Emory & Henry College, King College, East Tennessee State University or the University of Tennessee College of Agriculture in Knoxville.
An applicant must demonstrate financial need.
