About the Scholarship

Jerry Harvey Endowment Scholarship award is sponsored and is monitored by the ESA Foundation. This scholarship is given assistance for the tuition fees, books, dormitory fees, or any other college fees or academic expenses for those eligible graduate or undergraduate students of Texas.


How to apply for the scholarship?

  • Applications are available on the official website of the ESA Foundation and all the applicants must fill up the application with all the necessary documents and submit them before the deadline.

  • A candidate must also fill up the FAFSA application form to receive SAR (Student Aid Report) and determine his/her family's financial position to pay for the education.
  • A student must also submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
  • Two letters of recommendation are required and an essay about career plan and the reasons for apply for the scholarship.

  • In addition to that, an official high school transcript including the current grade point.

  • He/she has to pay $5 for this application.

Scholarship Amount and Deadline

The scholarship amounts to $1,300 per year and is non-renewable. Only one deserving candidate will receive financial assistance from the foundation to pay for their education.

All the required documents must be submitted to the financial aid division of the foundation no later than the 1st of February to be one among the eligible candidates.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant should be a high school senior or undergraduate or graduate student.

  • A candidate must be a legal citizen of the United States residing in Texas or eligible non-US citizens.

  • To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must demonstrate excellence in academics and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or above.
