About the Scholarship

This award is available to Massachusetts high school students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a public Massachusetts college or university. Students must have earned a Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) grade 10 test score that ranks in the top 25 percent in their school district. Eligibility Criteria

Must score in the Advanced category in either the mathematics or the English language arts section of the grade 10 MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System) test and score in the Proficient or Advanced category on the second subject (mathematics or English language arts). Students must also have a combined MCAS score on these assessments that ranks in the top 25 percent in their school district. Must be a permanent Massachusetts resident. Must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must plan to enroll full time. Must attend a Massachusetts public college or university to pursue a first bachelor's degree. Must be a high school senior at time of FAFSA submission. This award is for U.S. students.
