About the Scholarship
John And Abigail Adams Scholarship Program are accredited by the Massachusetts Office of Student Financial Assistance. The mission of the (MOSFA) is to give access to higher education by providing financial assistant aid and service to residents of the commonwealth. The John And Abigail Adams Scholarship provides funds to Massachusetts rural area students who demonstrate financial need and to those who plan to study for higher education within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Basic requirements needed to apply for this scholarship?
The student has to complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be able to apply or receive any financial aids
The official transcript of the student must be submitted.
- Must enroll as a full-time student and mandatorily submit the Adams Scholarship award letter to the financial aid office.
John And Abigail Adams Scholarship Program award amounts to
The awards given to the individual students at the University Of Massachusetts have to be valued at $1,714 at Boston, $1,714 at Amherst, $1,454 at Lowell and $1,417 at Dartmouth.
The awards given to the individual students at State Universities and Community Colleges cannot exceed the resident undergraduate tuition rate which is put at the institutions.
The applicant must submit their applications by the end of May 01, 2020. Scholarship information is available online on the Massachusetts Office of Student Financial Assistance (MOSFA) website.
The student should be a U.S. citizen or an authorized noncitizen.
The applicant should not have acquired a prior bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
The combined score for the MCAS should be in the top 25%.
- Legally must be a resident of Massachusetts for a minimum of one year before taking admission to the college as a freshmen.
