About the Scholarship

In 1997, the John Lennon scholarships were established. Individuals ages 17 to 24, who attend or have attended a U.S. college or university may apply. To enter, students must compose a song with lyrics. Student songwriters and composers of contemporary musical genres are encouraged to apply. Application requirements for the John Lennon Scholarship Competition are:Application form Original song (instrumentation & lyrics)

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be a current student or alumnus/alumna of a U.S. college or university.
