About the Scholarship
Joon Care is a teletherapy company for teens and young adults that integrates the benefits of one-on-one therapy sessions with a mobile app-based experience. Our approach is evidence-based, skills-focused and personalized for each individual client. Why are we providing this scholarship? Simply put, there’s just not enough mental health professionals out there. We recognize that. The demand for mental health care is overwhelming and continues to grow. In order to solve these challenges, we will need the brightest minds working on these problems. Though this scholarship will not solve the issue, we hope to support at least one student to pursue a degree and career in mental health care. Whether your career goal is to be a clinical psychologist, school counselor, social worker or software developer inventing the next generation of technology for mental health care, we'd love to hear from you.
