About the Scholarship
Kenneth Andrew Roe Scholarship is accredited and is sponsored by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
ASME is a non-profit organization that was established in the year 1880 by a small group of leading industrialists, that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciplines, toward a goal of helping the global engineering community develop solutions to benefit lives and livelihoods.
What is the application procedure?
Students are informed to submit their acceptance letter from the school they are enrolled in.
Candidates must demonstrate their need for financial assistance by submitting relevant documents.
Students must submit an essay describing their interests and goals.
Two-letter of recommendation from faculty members, professors, or supervising engineers.
The understudies applying for this award must present a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application form to determine his/her family's financial position to pay for their education.
What is the scholarship award amount and deadline?
This scholarship award amounts to $13000 annually which is non-renewable and is provided only to one deserving candidate.
The applications are to be presented to the respective department on or before the end of March 01, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application, and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date to avoid their application being rejected.
An applicant must be a college junior or senior in the upcoming academic year.
A student must be a U.S. citizen or a resident of North America.
Must be enrolled in a mechanical engineering baccalaureate program.
To be eligible for the scholarship, a candidate must be studying in the United States enrolled in a full-time program.
