About the Scholarship
The Kentucky Tuition Grant (KTG) is a need-based award provided by the KHEAA to help the residents of Kentucky who are in a greater financial need. An applicant should attend an accredited Kentucky private colleges to receive this grant opportunity. The recipients must demonstrate the financial burden for their academic study.
In order to apply for this grant, an applicant must fill and submit a FAFSA application form. After the completion of the FAFSA form, Student Aid Report will be generated. Which illustrates an applicant's financial information. Based on that, the Financial Aid Office will assist the students.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The grant awards $3000 to any number of students who meet the eligibility. The award is not automatically renewable, a student needs to reapply for this grant again. Funds are given based on first-come-first-served based.
The applicants must apply for this grant before October 1st.
A student must be a legal resident of Kentucky
A student should have a financial need to receive the fund.
A student must attend an accredited college in Kentucky.
Applicants have to enroll full-time in an associate or bachelor’s degree program.
Students have no past due financial obligations to KHEAA or to any Title IV program.
