About the Scholarship
The Los Angel Clippers are providing an opportunity to help college students financially to pay for their education without any burden. The scholarship is provided to the students living in the Los Angeles area. To enjoy the benefits of the scholarship a student must be good at academics and extracurricular activities and also in civics and community involvement. A recipient can use the funds provided with their tuition, fees, and books.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
An applicant must fill and submit the FAFSA application first to demonstrate their financial assistance and family's position to pay their child's education.
In addition to FAFSA, the student must submit the Los Angeles Clippers Stay in School Scholarship Application in pdf format.
A recipient must submit official transcripts of their academic study with SAT/ACT grade card.
In addition to all of these, an applicant must also submit a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher and prepare an essay about the topic "why college is important to me?" in not more than 300 words.
Award Amount and Deadline
The Los Angeles Clippers is offering four $2500 awards for two male and two female senior students who demonstrate the need for financial assistance.
The official transcripts and documents needed for the scholarship must be submitted no later than 23 February.
The scholarship will be made available for the students residing in the greater Los angles Area.
The scholarship program will be judged based on grades and SAT scores and also based on extracurricular activities, civics, community activities.
The recipient should write an essay on the topic "Why College is important to me" in around 300 words.
