About the Scholarship

 The scholarship is awarded by the National Business Aviation Association, Inc. to benefit undergraduates pursuing careers in business aviation management. Their main mission is to foster an environment that allows business aviation to thrive in the United States and around the world. This scholarship was created to honor the late Lawrence Ginocchio's outstanding personal contribution to the business aviation community. The scholarship is one of the several scholarships offered by NBAA to promote professional development and business aviation careers. 


How to apply for the scholarship?

  • The applicant must complete the application which can be found on the National Business Aviation Association site.

  • Along with the application, the applicant should submit a 500-1000 word essay describing his/her career goals in the business aviation industry

  • Official academic transcripts, a resume, two recommendation letters, and FAFSA.


How much the scholarship award amounts to?

  • The award amounts to $4,500 per year and is non-renewable.

  • Five awards are offered per year.

 


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must possess an interest in aviation, be honest, and selflessness.

  • A student should be officially a resident of the United States.

  • An applicant must have a 3.0 grade point average out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.
